It has come to my attention that people have been leaving Carroll 
County after seeing the crane. It began during the heavy rains we 
had earlier this week. At first I assumed magic flying carpets were 
involved, but then I realized nobody in their right mind would ride 
a rug in the rain.

Hence I conclude that the bird has warped the spacetime continuum in 
a way that traps the bird but lets the rest of us come and go as we 
please. We should be thankful - we're riding the Freedom Crane.
