Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that this year is turning out to be an especially good year for vagrant hummingbirds in the East. Please keep your feeders clean and full! If you don't still have one up, consider adding one. In addition to considering this a great idea in general, I am sending this by request of one hummingbird host whose visitor might have moved on. Your yard might be next. (But hopefully its mine!)

If you re-fill a feeder or add a new one this weekend, please reply off-list to let me know you did so. I'd like to pass these notes on to a worried hummingbird host who hopes to ensure lots of options for their guest while its on the road south.
