Thanks for checking in, Bob.  Yes, midday she usually spends foraging
in the shrubbery at the back of the yard or basking.  By my count, you
are the 103rd birder to have visited, and 100% of everyone who has
come has seen her (usually within 10 minutes, although one of my very
best birding friends had to wait the longest, 45 minutes, on a wet and
windy day).
