The bird was banded this morning and identified as a hatch-year female Rufous 
hummingbird.  Interestingly, I learned from a neighbor last night that the bird 
has been visiting another feeder in the neighborhood "for weeks."  Anyone 
wanting to see it is still welcome at 9500 Thornhill RD.
