Hi Everyone,

I tried for the Golden-crowned Sparrow this morning. There were about five cars already there when I arrived, and several more arrived in the next hour. Around 9 am, I thought I had seen the sparrow at the back of the hedgerow cut, but no on else saw the sparrow at that time or during the day. I would like to retract my sighting, as it appeared most if not all of the same birds rotated in and out feeding in the hedgerow cut.

The Rough-legged Hawk continues at the same spot, some folks observed a Golden Eagle there, but I missed that one. I went to Eastern Neck, but the only notable sighting was the return trip through Rock Hall where I spotted a Merlin. Only other notable sigting was a Ring-necked Pheasant fairly close to RT 20. Any Kent County folks know if there is a wild population of Ring-necked Pheasants?
It was a long ride home with the traffic.

Hope everyone has a great X-mas and Happy New Year.
