This morning, I looked out at one of the feeders in our backyard and saw a 
streaky bird with wing bars. I grabbed the bins but it took off before I could 
get a good look at it. Didn't look at all right for a House Finch but I didn't 
know for sure. Just now, I was out filling the feeders and there was a Pine 
Siskin sitting on the tube sunflower feeder. Funny thing, when I walked over to 
about 5-6 feet, it just sat there. I had to fill the feeder and when I moved 
closer, if just jumped to the opposite side but eventually flew off. We had a 
PISI at our feeder on 7/5/10 so this is a much more expected date!
