Yesterday we went out to see if the Monk Parakeets were still in Laurel.  We found the nest easily, but no birds.  Actually, it looked like several nests had been attempted, but it wasn't clear if the largest one was successful or not - there was no sign of the birds.  

Has anyone seen these birds recently?
