Hi everyone,

Bill Hubick, Jim Brighton, and I have made the final updates to the 2010 
Comp. List, which you can find on Bill's website here: 
http://billhubick.com/docs/MD_Comp_List_2010.pdf. Collectively, birders 
recorded 356 birds in Maryland in 2010. On the Comp. List you'll find 
where every one of those 356 birds were first seen (to the best of our 
knowledge) and which birders first found them.

I've taken on the task of maintaining the 2011 Comp. List, which Bill 
has again graciously volunteered to host on his website. You can view it 
in pdf form or as an Excel spreadsheet 
(http://billhubick.com/documents.php).

Updated through today, we are up to 151 species, which is exactly where 
we were at this time last year.  If you see something missing or 
incorrect, feel free to email me so that the list can be as accurate as 
possible. The list will be updated on a monthly basis and I'll 
periodically post updates to MDOsprey.

Here's to beating 356...
