I had a pair serenading me Monday eve from before midnight to well after.  It was nice to hear since i was unable to sleep anyway anticipating my return to the salt mines this morning after a break of more than a week.  Anyone else hearing them?  I assume this is a prelude to mating...

I've also had a Mockingbird actively driving other birds away from the home feeding station.  His/her only interest seems to be the suet, but all comers are targeted whether they head to the suet or the sunflower seed feeders.
