A big thank you to Clive Harris for posting his Iceland Gulls from the
other day at the site of the old Hemingways Restaurant by the Bay
Bridge.

This morning, Ron Gutberlet, Joe Hanfman and I enjoyed one of the
reported two ICELAND GULLS floating out on the calm waters near all
the channel markers. Later, we hiked Terrapin Nature Park, where we
were successful relocating the AMERICAN TREE SPARROW.

This afternoon, I went to Sandy Point SP and found another ICELAND
GULL off the point. At one point the bird landed on the beach. I got
a few distant photos and video of both birds. The AA bird has a
little notch / darker area on the left side of it's head, behind it's
eye. Nothing serious, but I'll try to zoooooom way in on the QA bird
to see if I notice the same distinctive mark.

Good Birding,
