When starlings and house sparrows take over the feeders, we take them  
down for awhile and put them back up when they are gone.

"Our" Carolina Wrens not only eat the suet, but spend time at the  
peanut feeder as well.
We've had our first red breasted nuthatch ever this year, and at least  
two resident Towhees regularly show up!

Today a male cardinal with "bent" primary feathers was seen on the  
ground under the feeder.  It can't fly and eventually hopped into the  
bushes.
