I am posting this for Mike Bowen who just called at 10:50 from Haines Point in the District of Columbia.  He went to look for the Iceland Gull previously reported from the Washington Channel.  He did NOT find the Iceland Gull but he is looking at a first-cycle Glaucous Gull on the Washington Channel.  Mike is near the intersection of Buckeye Drive and Ohio drive on the east side of Haines Point looking east at the Channel.  The Glaucous Gull is on a shelf of ice on the east side of the Washington Channel with other gulls. It is in front of a building with “Poseidin” on it.  Mike says it is between the large bridge at the north end of the Channel and the golf course.
