A friend of mine had a male Common Yellowthroat in her Pikesville yard (between Pimlico and Greenspring, just south of Smith Ave.) on Monday, Feb. 21. She heard the bird singing, went outside to look, and observed it flitting around in evergreen bushes in her front yard for about a minute before it flew away.
