Good morning all,

While out with the dog (who really loves the fact that the snow is gone) walking the yard this morning, I heard a faint hint of a Tundra Swan calling and looked up to see a small group of 5 flying low right over our heads, heading south. South? Really?

A pair of bluebirds were singing and checking out 2 of our boxes, flitting down to pick things from the field, flying into the bradford pears, etc. Fun to watch, they really seem to enjoy the sunny last days of winter.

A single adult Red-shouldered Hawk was flying around fairly low and calling, then later I saw it perched in a locust tree along our driveway.

A Carolina Wren was belting out his song from the bradford pear closest to the house, and small flocks of Red-winged Blackbirds were flying overhead.

Last night when Alli stepped out to get some firewood, she heard a Screech Owl calling from across the far woods, about 8 PM.
