Hi all,

Stopped in at some birding spots today: Red necked Grebe at Reilly's Lock, (there was another grebe with it, so possibly 2) -lots of Ringed billed Gulls on the river, as well as LOTS of trash flowing down it too.
Next stop was Hughes Hollow where I saw two large white objects in the western corner of the big impoundment-Tundra Swans!  I asked a couple of birders, who also acknowledged not hearing of them here. They didn't stay long, and took off towards the Potomac. One Ring necked Duck flew in and landed.

Last stop was Pennyfield Lock:  wet impoundment
Mallards (good number)
Canada Geese- 6-7 lots of flyovers
American Widgeon
Green winged Teal-several
Gadwall- 2
American Black Duck-several
Wood Duck-flyovers  8-9
