I tried for the GWFG at mid day with no success.

I also tried for the WW Scoter at Violettes Lock. I was successful, it is
associated with the Redheads. There were hundreds of Ringbill Gulls,
unfortunately I could not find any other species.

Bob Augustine found a Greater White-fronted Goose about 2pm yesterday at the
Sewage Treatment Pond in Stevens Park, in Poolesville. (Rt 107, rt Spates
Hill Rd, lft into Stevens Park) Seen again from 4-4:30 with 14 Canada Geese.
GWFG not there at 8:30 this morning, while 4 CANG remained.
