Yesterday afternoon on my way to Stemmers Run to look for Short-eared Owls and 
listen for American Woodcock I found a Eurasian Collared Dove just west of 
Cecilton. The bird was perched on wires along rt 282, approximately 1/4 to 1/2 a 
mile west of the rt 213 intersection. It was across the street from a one story 
yellow house. There were about 10 Mourning Doves further west along rt 282 but 
not associating with this bird. 


By the way, there were no short-ears and five woodcock at Stemmers.
