I was off work today for an early morning endoscopy test so afterward I was able to check out my yardbirds. Before I left for the test I heard two pileated woodies together in the woods next to my house. At the same time a Downy was knocking on a tree and a RedBellied woodie was making a racket too. Not sure why they were all being noisy at the same time.

A flock of Canada geese were flying over, probably on their way to the lake. I am still seeing quite a few Juncos which I just noticed I left off my list below. There must have been 12 of them on my deck this morning.

I am still checking out my chickadees looking for the Black Capped. I am seeing some that some have the white on the wings looking like the hockey sticks but they do not have the rufous wash like it says in my field guide. Not sure what to make of them are they just Carolinas?

On the way to my test this morning I passed by the ponds at Friendly Farms and saw a lot of ducks and Canada Geese. Some Mallards and a few Ringed Necks, maybe some other kinds but they were too far away and I did not have my binocs.
