Hello everyone,

I was down at Haines Point this morning when word came that a Yellow-headed Blackbird that was hanging out at the southern end of the Point.  Unfortunately, a couple of other birders and I were unable to relocate it, but we did find a white-headed Grackle.  So, look closely at any Yellow headed BB because the White-headed Grackle is haunting the same point too!

P.S. A large flock of Starlings, Grackles and Red-winged Blackbirds have been frequenting the flotsam/debris on the Potomac side of the park (about midway down the Point) from the recent flood.
