Hi all with dark skies looming and rain showers off and on Les Roslund ,Danny Poet joined field trip leader Jan Reese for the drive to Salisbury Maryland for some morning birding . By the time we arrived the rain had stopped for the most part . First Stop was the Salisbury Landfill were we were joined by Sam Dyke. We sorted through the gulls that were there and did locate one Lesser Black Backed gull there among a few Greater black Backed Gull and lots of Herring Gulls and a few Ring Bills . Other stops Pemberton Park where there were lots of Robins . The Golf Course or Resident Canada Geese were very easy to pick out from the migrants . We ended the birding at around 11:30 Am when the rain came in pretty hard . we got a quick lunch at wendy's. After lunch we got a guided tour of the Ward Musuem by Sam were we were joined by the Thuts . They house all sort of waterfowl decoys, Carvings and had the photos of Kevin Fleming on display very well worth a visit . We had 41 species and had one new for the year .
