Hi all,  Stopped by Cromwell after work to do some birding . birds were 
out and singing . But the highlight was the Merlin at the top  of the hawk 
watch . There is a dead tree in front  of the watch, he was sitting right on 
top .  I watched him for over an hour and at one time he took to flight and 
caught a Junco and flew back and ate it. I have seen Merlins, but have never 
see one hunt. Very exciting to see.  Ben
