Morning all,
I heard my first Eastern Phoebe for the yard this morning, singing from somewhere in the front yard. Also had a single Fish Crow fly over
calling in flight, not a common bird here. No sign yet of the Tree Swallows, but plenty of bluebird activity. Lots of juncos still around, and small groups of Chipping Sparrows too. Had a Field Sparrow checking out the front (overgrown) field on Friday AM as well. For some reason, they've become uncommon around here also.

No sign yet of Wood Ducks, but they will soon put in an appearance in the small farm pond down the hill. Had a pair of Great Blue Herons there last week.

Plant trees, create habitat,
