We have annual records of Caspian Tern in Patterson Park at the end of March. Though I have to fess up and admit that I'm generally too busy to enter my records on e-bird.

If anyone wants a lengthy computer project to enter these, I have about 3000 records from Patterson Park since 2004.

I did some searching on eBird and there aren't many March records for this species, so I followed up with documentation and posted a few photos. The bird was still in the vicinity, although sometimes it will fly out over the river, out of view from the park. It seemed to return in 10 minutes or so.

There is a CASPIAN TERN at Southwest Area Park in Baltimore. Hunting around the oxbow near boat launch.
