All

Russ Greenberg and I will be travelling to Fisherman's Island this year to
see if we can find some of the wild Atlantic Song Sparrow subspecies to
study. We had heard that they breed on the island, but wanted to see if
anyone had any first hand experiences.

Anyone?

Thanks

sam

What Issa Heard

Two hundred years ago
Issa heard
the morning birds
singing sutras
to this suffering world.

I heard them too,
this morning,
which must mean

Since we will always have
a suffering world
we must also always
have a song.
