Hello,

There was an American Bittern today at Southwest Area Park in Baltimore. This was in the oxbow to the right as you are coming in to the boat launch. It was buried in the phrags on the first pass. On the second pass was actually out in the open. It was flushed by people walking dogs and allowing them to splash in the water.

I loaded a photo up of it, against the sun but I jumped the exposure way up and got some decent color and detail.
