OC Pelagic Results - 20 Mar 2011

Below are belated results from the recent Maryland Pelagics/Moring Star trip out of Ocean City on 20 March 2011.  It was a little rough in the am, and because of that we did not get as far offshore as we may have wanted, but we had a good collection of Razorbills throughout the day.  Unfortunately, no confirmed Common Murres as on the February trip.  



The highlight was Maryland's first (!!) March Sooty Shearwater, seen by most, and well photographed by Dan Hass.  The pipit was new for a nuber of "pelagic zone' lists as well!! 



Thanks to all the interest and participants.  Future trips are in the planning stages...
