Hi All,
 
Paul Pisano, Rob & Lisa Hilton and I all birded Hains Point for 4 hours Saturday morning.  Highlights:
 
2 Caspian Tern
1 Laughing Gull
20 Bonaparte's Gull
26 Great Blue Herons ( flocks of 9 and 14, and misc.)
1 Red-necked Grebe
4 Blue-winged Teal
1 Great Egret
2 Long-tailed Ducks
1+ Merlin (in tall golf course trees)
1  Fox Sparrow
 
When we arrived around 7 am, parking was fine, by the time we left it was quite crowded, but parking was still available on the west(Potomac) side of the park.  So if you want to try your luck here tomorrow, come early or just drive the whole loop until you get to parking farther down the road.
