Not having been able to get out much yesterday and unhappy at the prospect of being out of state for the next few days, I took a very wet walk at Milford Mill Park between 9:30, when it was mostly drizzling, and 10:25, when it was raining too hard to hear birds or point binoculars upward. I was rewarded with three FOYs: PALM WARBLER 5, LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH 2, and BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER. I also saw PINE WARBLERS, EASTERN PHOEBES, BROWN CREEPERS, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS, SWAMP SPARROW, and other more mundane species. My counts for individuals are probably low, and I'm sure I missed some species. Conditions were not favorable.
