Hi Gail et al,

I went to Wheaton after work and stayed from 6 to about 7:15 pm. I was happy to find the LOON still there, the second one I see in a week, the first one having been at RIley's lock. We played hide & seek (dive & seek?) for a while. Still around Pine Lake, I also found my foy PALM Warbler, maybe a new arrival? I also had 2 TOWHEES, and several of the species you reported in the morning, but far from all. A Tufted Titmouse was singing very sweetly. No Kestrel or Osprey, unless they flew by while I was taking photos of Loon, Palm, Towhee & a blue-looking Cowbird. I posted a few photos at http://tweetweet.smugmug.com/Nature/Birds/2011/15395235_AaVQY (the very last ones in the gallery).

Happy spring birding,

Evelyn
