I just had a red breasted nuthatch visit my hanging feeder at my home in Anne Arundel County. I have never had one stop by before, and am totally thrilled! Also, two brown thrashers stopped by for a brief visit this morning. Those are not a life bird for the feeder, but also a good species here.

The black-capped chickadee that appeared on and off for the end of the winter has not been seen in the past month. I do have two carolina chickadees that seem to be a pair that come and feed consistently; they continue.
