Location: North Point SP
Time: 7:30 - 10:30
Observation date: 4/16/11
Number of species: 46
Weather: east wind very hard; not yet raining
Highlights include: 14 Cattle Egrets, 3 Little Blue Herons, 1 Virginia Rail,
one unidentified Tern (90% sure it was a Common Tern), and 1 unidentified
flyover while driving (80% sure was a Glossy Ibis).
The Virginia Rail was heard calling from the causeway; and not far from there I
found the Little Blue Herons (same place where they had a sizable breeding
colony last year).
Good Birding!
