I noticed your postings on MDOsprey (I can't post to it) and thought you may be interested in what I saw at Riley's Lock around 1:00 p.m. today.  I saw from the bridge close to shore a female Common Merganser and her 11 chicks.  I didn't stay long because the water continued to rise on Riley's Lock Road and I didn't want to spend the night there!
