There are a pair of Buffleheads down on the lake here right now. At least
the second pair this spring.

Walked around a park in Manchester that goes by several names and I can't
recall any of them at the moment. It's the one with the little round nature
center that never seems to have anybody in it. You know. That one.

Several RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS and a flock of BUTTERBUTTED WARBLERS, aka
yellow-rumps. The kinglets are a lot of fun right now because a lot of them
are singing. Had a pair of RED-SHOULDERED HAWKS make a fuss about me being
there. This time of year that makes me go "Hmmmm", but I didn't spot
anything that appeared to be a nest. Not much else exciting, but at one
point I thought I heard a Yellowthroat chip. I pished and nobody answered.
