Hello,
 
I was too slow to take down the wreath on our well-protected-from-the-elements front porch.  A Carolina wren made a deep nest in the middle, behind the bear in a canoe.   It was a nice break from figuring taxes yesterday to peak out of the small window along the top of our front door to see an adult wren, less than three feet away, dutifully bringing seeds to the tiny beak that opened wide to receive them.  It's been worth not having the use of our front door for a short while.  Only the postal service intrudes on this family's space regularly.
