Weather:
Mostly sunny; 48-63 degrees; excellent visibility; winds very strong out of
the west, 14-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph

Raptor Observations:
A fine raptor flight as we held onto our hats with the very strong winds;
best Sharp-shinned day so far.

Non-raptor Observations:
Motivated by the heavy rains of the previous evening, about 50 Eastern
Spadefoots (toads) emerged to spend a day of intense calling and mating.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
