Weather:
Mostly cloudy becoming overcast; 53-62 degrees; winds calm, then becoming
ENE, 0-9 mph
Raptor Observations:
The overcast and easterly winds were unexpected, but the flight under those
conditions followed form: sparse. The Merlin was an adult male.
Non-raptor Observations:
Glossy Ibis (1), new for the season; 9 Caspian Terns heading north

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
