Hi all,
Some quick highlights from birding in the rain this morning. Started off at hughes hollow at about 6:30. I had 2 sora, one called, one seen close beyond the cross dike. I also came across the marsh wren near the end of the main dike and managed a few pictures. Next I checked turf farms but didn't turn up too much besides a group of american pipits at patton and a group of lesser yellowlegs just before white's ferry rd. I ended with a nice walk at pennyfield. Warblers for the morning included
Northern Parula - 5, pennyfield
Yellow Warbler - 1, pennyfield
Yellow Rumped Warbler lots
Black-Throated Green Warbler - 2, sycamore landing
Yellow-Throated Warbler - 1, pennyfield
Prairie Warbler - multiple while driving
Palm Warbler - sycamore and pennyfield
Black and White warbler 3, pennyfield
American Redstart - 1, sycamore
Prothonotary Warbler 2, hughes hollow
Louisiana Waterthrush 1, pennyfield
Common Yellowthroat 1, hughes hollow
