I heard my first wood thrush of the year yesterday evening, in the woods by my house.  This morning, such a treat to open the door and hear them singing.  I heard one "Wheep!" while I was out looking around , so the great crested is back, too.  Also saw two downies chasing each other.  I love Spring!
