Fantastic find, but a bummer of timing for me and perhaps others. I was unable to try yesterday due to family obligations for Easter, and I fear this individual may be a one day wonder. This morning, perhaps a new bird was just seen and posted to MDOsprey by Stan Arnold, flying past Baltimore somewhere (message was cryptic). There is/was also one in DE yesterday near Newark being seen at same time as the one in Kent Island, so at least two are in the region. The DE bird may be the same bird reported last week in Cape May NJ.

I am guessing the one seen by Stan was a fly-by and not chase-able. If anyone has any advice about whether the Kent Island bird is still around, and/or if it is chase-able, please let us know or reply off line. I would like to try this afternoon.

Thank you!
Jeff Shenot
