Beautiful, sunny, blue skies in Callaway, St Mary's County and in a 30 minute time frame I had 21 species. 
House wren calling and 2 great crested flycatchers flying from an oak tree to a gum tree in my backyard. The 3 ruby throated hummingbirds continue to show up daily. There is 1 female and 2 males so far. I have mocking birds nesting in a bush in the front yard, house sparrows in a box and Carolina chickadees in a box in the back yard. Three blue birds keep checking the other boxes but no takers yet. Blue jays and American crows nesting behind the shed in the hardwood trees plus two pair of robins but haven't located their nests yet. One male and two female red belly woodpeckers and the same numbers for downy woodpeckers. I look forward to photographing lots of baby birds soon.
