Only a few warbler species were visible today: prothonotary, N parula, yellow rumped, and common yellowthroat, but some other interesting migrants are present. A pair of solitary sandpipers have been foraging for several days between Violettes and Pennyfield Locks. A warbling vireo was quite vocal above Violettes. Eastern kingbirds, a great crested flycatcher, a few indigo buntings, and both orioles have arrived.
