I agree that there is no need for excessive MD SHA bashing, but they didn't cover themselves in glory over the Brunswick bridge colony that they seemed blissfully unaware of last season.  It also seems that their promise to collaborate with MOS on future bridge/bird conflicts proved to be an empty one given that Kurt's first knowledge of the 340 work came from me.

It can't hurt for people who are going to be on the river anyway to look for CS activity at the bridge.  

BUT, as Gerald mentioned, anyone proposing to do this needs to take GREAT CARE! Given the current river conditions, it may be unsafe for boating for some time to come.  Joe Coleman has offered to check out the 340 bridge along with his census of the Brunswick and PT of Rocks bridges when conditions permit.
