  Did some birding close to home near the creek:
 
Northern Waterthrush  1
Blue gray Gnatcatchers- several
Gray Catbird
Rose breasted Grosbeak (heard)
White throated sparrow  1
Yellow throated Vireo  1
Red eyed Vireo  2
Great Crested Flycatchers  2
Canada Geese
Wood duck  1
 
then went to Aspen Hill Rec Area: 9;30-12noon
 
Barred Owl  1 (calling)
Acadian Flycatcher  2-3
Great crested Flycatcher  3
Eastern Phoebe  1
Wood Thrush       2
Veery                2
Rufous sided Towhee  2
Indigo Bunting   1
Red eyed Vireo  4
Blue heade Vireo  1
Blue gray Gnatcatcher   5
Scarlet Tanager  1
Blk throated green Warbler  2
Blk throated Blue  Warbler     2

Lake Needwood- the dredging is still going on, lots of mudflats.
