With my wife's encouragement tonight I stood on the roof and went "PEENT" repeatedly.  At one point, I stretched my arms out and opened my mouth, as if to catch bugs.  After a few minutes of this, 2 FOY common nighthawks showed up, flying east.  I'm not kidding!
