Hi All,

Hearing about the American Pipit in the pond at Kenilworth Park, I ran out there after dinner with my wife.  We located the bird and had a nice Solitary Sandpiper through in to boot.

Wondering if Common Nighthawks might be flying down the Potomac, we headed to Hains Point. We didn't see any Nighthawks, but we did spot a Great Egret flyng NW - up around 200 feet as the Thunderstorm passed just to the north.

Good Birding!
