Greenbury Point and SWAP

Had to do some family tree research at the Maryland Archives in Annap. on Wed so i did a quick check of the Greensbury Point area  . Did a short trip to Southwest Area Park in Southwest Baltimore on Thursday evening . Most notable Least Terns 
 
Birds seen  at Greenbury Point 
 
Bald Eagle  1    
Osprey     4
Bluebird    3
Black Vulture   5
Turkey Vulture  5
Barn Swallow   a few
Tree Swallow    a few
 
Severn Inn 
Mallard   10
 
Marsh across from Severn Inn 
American Coot     1
Green Heron       2    
Belted Kingfisher   1
Wood Duck     family of 10  
Canada Goose     6
Redwinged Blackbird    5
Beaver dam    1
 
 
Southwest Area Park 
 
Least Terns 4    tide very low and they rested on the logs and tires most of the time 
Bald Eagle  1    passing thru enroute to nest upriver
Osprey     1    on new nest on power tower near the entrance gate .
Eastern Kingibird       1  
Baltimore Oriole     heard in 3 areas 
Barn Swallows   
Northern Roughwing Swallows
Chimney Swift    
Great Egret   1
Carolina Wren   1
Redwinged Blackbirds   
American Robin   a few singing 
Northern Cardinal   1
