Weather:
Variably cloudy; 62-74 degrees; excellent visibility; winds light and
variable
Raptor Observations:
Subadult Mississippi Kite at 9:35 am daylight time. It flew in from the
west rather low, circled several times for about a full minute and then
headed out to the north.
Non-raptor Observations:
About 100 Bobolinks, possibly more

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
