All: Lisa and I had a PHILADELPHIA VIREO singing in our woods this morning for a 
good half hour. We got out the iPod and it responded, although allowing only 
brief glimpses in the tree canopy. I note from eBird that this is about the same 
time last year (May 15) when the first PHVI was recorded in the state.

Other species present included Scarlet Tanager, Wood Thrush, Eastern Wood Peewee 
and Northern Parula.
