Hi everybody,

I've just posted the only photo I was able to capture of a bird I encountered along the north section of the Jessops Trail off of Paper Mill Rd. in Baltimore County around 10AM this morning. The bird first appeared along the side of the path, picking through a patch of ferns. When it first jumped up in front of me, it was facing me directly and my first thought was female Am. Goldfinch, but it then turned to the side and I immediately noticed the lack of wing bars. It was the size (roughly) of a Goldfinch, pale greenish/yellowish underneath, darker drab green on top, no wingbars, dark grayish finch-like beak. It took off up higher into the trees before I could get a better image and I wasn't able to refind it over the next couple hours. The bird was silent, so no help there. I'd appreciate any comments on the photo, posted here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27381338@N03/5727378416/in/photostream
