I arrived at Swan Creek just as Matt was leaving
(thanks for the tip on the White-rumped Sandpiper, Matt)
and wanted to add some birds from down at the viewing platform
down the lane (NOT the service Road) to the right of the flagpole:

Snowy Egrets ~ 3 (including two in "high-breeding" plumage with
very bright red feet and bare parts at the base of the bill)
Little Blue Herons ~ 2, one adult plumage, one in juvenile
(virtually all
white save for a few smudges of gray on the throat, but definitely
blue at the base of the bill)
Least terns ~ a pair chasing each other while fishing
	Cattle Egret ~ 1
	Great Egret ~ 2
Mute swans ~ 2 (should someone notify DNR?)
